The London Classical Trio was formed by three of the UK’s finest chamber musicians, drawn together by friendship and a shared vision in chamber music. Each a specialist, a soloist, a leader, and a prizewinning instrumentalist in their own field, they share an unusual affinity, enjoyment, and communicative style in performance together. As musicians in demand internationally, they’ve performed in many of the world’s finest concert halls and festivals as soloists and chamber musicians, ranging from performing at the Royal Albert Hall (JP Ekins), to leading the Alison Balsom Ensemble, (James Toll) to performing as gamba soloist with the Academy of Ancient Music (Jonathan Rees). The trio will be presenting a programme of brilliant music that ranges from joyous, to vivid, to funereal, and with everything in-between.
