Originally trained as a Graphic Designer Arty Pumpkin rediscovered her love of drawing, especially life drawing. Over the past few years she has begun to explore a variety of media; pencil, pastel, paint, print and has found a use for some wooden letterpress blocks acquired many moons ago. Her work now combines the words, heard or read – from the radio, papers, books, poems, people’s mouths, with her images.
