Hand Casting – receive
Diana Pattenden is a sculptor who lives in Newbury and has an artist’s studio based in Lower Way Farm, Thatcham. Her work is cast into bronze or bronze resin and can be for the house or garden. She has bronzes of animals such as cows and bulls, hens, a donkey and abstract shapes that look like plants. Some of her garden sculpture is made in ceramic stoneware and again plants and botanical shapes are the source of inspiration. Bronze resin pieces include fish and bees. Hand casts in plaster create strikingly expressive sculpture on architectural brick and slate plinths. Her work has been exhibited locally and during the Open Studio Scheme.
