Ralph Mizraki – Bass
Raph Mizraki was for several years a member of the mediǽval and renaissance band the Dufay Collective, in which he played oud, rebec, viol and mediǽval percussion, and was also frequently employed on violone with some of London’s leading early music ensembles such as His Majesty’s Sagbutts and Cornets and The Gabrieli Consort. He has also taken part in many cross-cultural projects with African and Arabic musicians, and toured extensively with Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band. He eventually gave up all this tomfoolery to concentrate on jazz and funk, and he is currently house bassist at the Spin in Oxford.
