A regular feature in the Arts for Hungerford diary, these concerts always provide a standard of performance that truly belies the players years. These friendly events give young musicians the perfect opportunity to polish pieces in preparation for auditions whilst showing a local audience what can be achieved with talent and a lot of hard work! Players this time include members of The Royal Academy and Royal College of Music’s Junior Departments, Berkshire Youth Symphony Orchestra and The National Children’s Orchestra. The concert will showcase pieces for flute, oboe, violin, double bass and bassoon; do come along and support these local musicians.
